Join the launch team for The Alabaster Jar!

The Alabaster Jar is FINALLY out!! I know many of you have been waiting for this day and it is finally here!

I’m excited to be working with Sarah Lynne Creates as we launch this new book into the world! Sarah is a very sweet and kind person who has written some books of her own and enjoys helping Christian authors in various ways whether with editing, social media coaching, launches, and much more. She is exceedingly talented and I’m grateful God brought her to mind when I was getting ready to launch my newest book and I’m praying God brings many blessings out of this collaboration for the both of us! The process for writing this second book in my Heart of God series started probably about 2 years ago now. I had finished writing it at the beginning of last year and then a LOT of life happened that prevented me from sitting down and editing this book for pretty much the entire year last year. I know for me I kept anxiously waiting to be able to sit down and edit and start the publishing process so I could get this second book out there sooner than later, but as I’ve had to learn and re-learn with each of my books, God’s timing is not my own. When this second book released a couple weeks ago, I had the crazy realization that this is my 6th book to be written and published! SIXTH book! Sometimes I get so caught up in the process of writing and editing and promoting and publishing, I don’t take time to stop and think about how incredible it is to have written each book and to look back and realize how far I’ve come since starting this author journey probably close to ten year ago now.

God has always been faithful, even when I’m not. This life has been hard. I’ve lived through a lot of things. I’ve been wounded and scarred and felt the pressures of this world many, many times to the point of wondering if I will ever experience the light of God’s love ever again or be worthy of His love and forgiveness. I’ve given into my own fleshly desires and turned my back and heart on God too many times to count and still struggle with fully surrendering myself to Him and giving my heart, mind and soul completely to Him. But for some reason, He decided to take my story and the story of His love and desire for every person on this Earth and turn them into a beautiful masterpiece through these stories He has given me to write. My testimony isn’t as strong as the characters in my books and there are times I don’t remain in the presence of my Savior and call out to Him like they do, but I am trying and striving every day to work on my relationship with Him and am always humbled by the fact that He continues to use me and work through me despite my failures. He is truly the only thing that makes my story beautiful and it is only because of Him that these stories themselves are beautiful. I am forever grateful God has given me this part of the dreams I never expected to have and continue to pray that my walk with Him grows stronger and deeper each and every day.

The launch team for The Alabaster Jar is starting June 15, and I would love and appreciate your support in joining the team! This second book in my Heart of God series picks up close to where book 1 leaves off and it turned out to be such a beautiful story. We find out more about Peters’ testimony when he is talking with Dylan at a lake and he shares how he struggled to find his own faith in God but just never seemed able to find it until one night at a revival meeting when he heard a sermon about Abraham and Isaac and he realized the work had already been done, he just needed to believe and surrender himself to God. There are difficulties that start to creep up between Selah and Dylan as they explore a new relationship with each other and the tension building between them escalates when they are separated and they both have to trust God to keep them safe and bring them back together so they can figure things out. The main focus of this second book would definitely be the journey that Dylan’s own faith in God goes on throughout this book. You’ll see him struggle with trying to make his faith like Selah’s and the frustrations and worries and insecurities that come to the surface in his life when he is left to try to figure his faith in God without Selah being present in his life.

Like book 1, this story follows a rare artifact connected to an account from the Bible and gives vibes of National Treasure with a Biblical twist. A possible murder witnessed by Selah and her ex years before becomes somehow connected to a jeweled bracelet and remnants of an alabaster jar that might have deeper connections to the Bible than they realize. Book 2 is full of heart-racing adventure paired with deep stories of faith and will lead you on more than just an adventure around the world, it will lead you on a journey of faith.
